Mountfield’s SP53 is quality self-propelled, petrol-driven mower. The powerful, reliable STIGA ST170 Autochoke engine and 51cm cutting width combine to produce a hardworking, dependable and easy to use lawnmower.

With a robust steel chassis, impressive 53cm cutting width and powerful engine the SP53 makes light work of all lengths of grass. It has a centralised lever to adjust the cutting height of the blade – with six positions to choose from depending on the length of grass you are cutting for a precision cut every time.

Grass clippings are collected into a generous 60-litre canvas grass bag complete with ‘bag full’ indicator. Alternatively if you prefer to mulch the grass this versatile mower also includes a mulching plug. Simply remove the grass bag and insert into the grass chute – grass clippings are then finely cut and recycled back onto the lawn as a nitrogen rich mulch. Mulching is a great way to keep your lawn healthy and also saves time when mowing too with no need to stop to empty the grass bag – win, win!

A skid plate is fitted at the front of the cutter deck- this ensures the best possible finish to the lawn and minimises the risk of scalping on uneven surfaces.

Storing the SP53 after use is easy – simply clean off any grass, fold down the handles and store in your shed or garage.
